10. We are a Eureka Welding Alloy recommended Die Repair facility.
11. Two Shift Operation
12. Immediate response for emergency
13. Flood Welding Procedure: Dies are preheated, the impressions are removed using the carbon arc process, and preheat is reestablished. Flood welding is accomplished with 1/8" DIA wire or 3/32" DIA wire, according to impression characteristics and die size. Dies are then stress relieved in electric furnaces to ensure temperature control.
14. Overlay: (Special Applications) For press dies, we recommend Eureka Alloy MF201. This alloy is applied to buster & blocker impressions in thicknesses ranging from .060" to .100", for large detail impressions, EDM preperation is required. The alloy is machinable as welded, it work hardens in the press. It is by far the most wear resistant alloy we offer. In many cases it increases die life by 30%+, over other welded dies.
15. All dies are tracked through the entire repair process for full traceability. Company's name, job number, date work started and finished, type filler material, heat number, amount of welding material consumed, stress relieve, personnel who worked on die, and notes about impression characteristics (high wear areas, cracking problems, etc.)
16. Absolute Welding, Inc. is centrally located in the Midwest to conveniently serve the entire forging industry.
