Laser Metrology

Absolute Welding and Machining now offers one of the most advanced metrology methods currently available – 3D laser scanning. Our 7-axis Romer Absolute Arm with integrated laser scanner and 3m work envelope (larger envelope available with overlay scanning) allows us to provide our customers 3D laser scanning inspection to a .007 mm accuracy. Uses include feature inspection to CAD, free-form surface inspection to CAD, and reverse engineering. The arm is also portable allowing us to do onsite inspections for customers.
